70% of our products are made in Hanes-owned facilities

or through our dedicated contractors – giving us the oversight to ensure our clothes are manufactured in an environmentally and socially responsible way.

Hanesbrands t-shirts, sweats and underwear eliminate 60 million plastic bottles from landfills annually.

American grown cotton

We source most of our cotton in the rain-rich states of the Southeast, utilizing advanced farming methods and water optimization strategies to create less impact on the environment.

We’ve reduced our water usage by 30%

and we treat 100% of the wastewater from Hanes’ manufacturing facilities through an advanced, naturally occurring biological process.

We’ve shifted 41% of our energy consumption to renewable sources,

using biomass, hydro and geothermal energy.
